Knights Ride for Veterans

This year, St John Applefest has added a new event on Sunday, September 15th, the Knights Ride for Veterans.  Funds will go to the Sacred Heart Veterans Village in Flint.  This is an all-day event beginning with registration at 8AM, a Motorcycle Ride to the Great Lakes National Cemetery for a ceremony honoring deceased veterans, then closing at the Applefest Spaghetti dinner.  We are looking for riders as well as sponsors/donors. This event is a community collaboration of the Applefest Committee, Knights of Columbus - Fenton Council, the Knights on Bikes Council of Michigan, the Fenton VFW and the Great Lakes National Cemetery.  For more background information, refer to the following sites:
