PFCU CREDIT UNION STAFF DONATE $6,454 to BEAUTY FOR ASHES
At PFCU Credit Union supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do. This quarter our staff has chosen Beauty for Ashes (Flint) as the recipient of third quarter “Dress Down” donations. Through this initiative PFCU staff members contribute donations in exchange for the opportunity to dress casually on Fridays and Saturdays. Each year our team thoughtfully selects a local nonprofit from a list of 12-16 organizations to receive these donations. We are proud to partner with Beauty for Ashes to help make a positive impact in our community.
Beauty for Ashes is a ministry dedicated to bringing hope and healing for a new and empowered life. They minister to women who are survivors of human trafficking and those at risk of sexual exploitation and addiction. Brianna Thompson, Executive Director of Beauty for Ashes shares, “The ladies we serve and our team at Beauty for Ashes are immensely grateful to receive this generous gift from PFCU. This donation will help fund the Christmas gala for our survivors.”
