Genesee Health Plan, Sovita Credit Union, National Center for African American Health Consciousness and
State Representatives to honor teachers and students
Private ceremony to celebrate and honor student and teacher winners of the 2021 Health Heritage Essay Contest
FLINT – At 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, Genesee Health Plan, Sovita Credit Union, and the National Center for African American Health Consciousness will award the student and teacher winners of the 2021 Health Heritage Essay Contest during a small, invite-only ceremony at Genesee Health Plan. State Representatives Tim Sneller and David Martin will also be in attendance to provide a special legislative tribute to the winners, acknowledging their work and overall work of the Annual Health Heritage Essay Contest.
Media are invited to attend. Masks and social distancing are required for all attendees to ensure safety. Federal and state COVID-19 safety guidelines and rules will be enforced. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. Extended family and friends are asked to tune into Facebook Live to view the ceremony.
