  • About

I was raised in a home built on service, hard work, and respect. My father, a proud United States Navy veteran who fought in the Korean War, taught me integrity, discipline, and the importance of treating every person with dignity. My mother, who worked at Ford Motor Company for 42 years, showed me what commitment, perseverance, and true strength look like. She stood by me through every chapter of my life, encouraging me to push forward, work hard, and never lose sight of who I am.

Those values shaped my path into the legal profession. I have spent multiple years serving Genesee County as both a defense attorney and a prosecutor, gaining a balanced perspective on how justice impacts individuals, families, and our broader community. My parents’ example taught me to approach every decision with fairness and respect, qualities that guide me in every courtroom I enter.

Now, as I seek to serve as Judge, I bring with me a lifetime shaped by service, work ethic, and compassion—values rooted in a Navy veteran and a strong Ford worker who together showed me what justice, responsibility, and community truly mean.
